URBAN SOUNDS WRAP UP l The young and young-at-heart converged on KGUV for the inaugural Urban Sounds music festival on Saturday 1 August. The blue skies drew in a great crowd to the free Kids’ Zone at Kulgun Park where children were entertained with a range of performances and activities including Barb Fordham and her band, Do-Re-Mi music workshops, and Crayola colouring-in stations. The bands at the main stage also livened up McCaskie Park with a bevy of tunes, with Red Bull and Nutrient Water keeping the crowd hydrated and energized with their giveaways.
