MAKE A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION THAT MATTERS  l  Ninety per cent of New Year resolutions are broken by February - so this New Year, don't make the usual resolutions, to lose weight, get fit, or do some charity work... make your New Year's resolution a pledge to donate blood.

According to a recent Blood Service survey, most of us want to give blood, but "we have so many commitments, it's sometimes hard to fit it in". It seems our intentions to do the right thing are there, but "life" somehow gets in the way. So this year, the Blood Service is urging Australians to set some time aside for themselves and also to help someone else!

Call 13 14 95 or visit the Red Cross website and make an appointment to give blood and save lives today.
