Sharing Stories: A Social History of the Kelvin Grove Urban Village is a 160 page hard cover coffee table book that provides an informative recount of Indigenous and European settlement in the area and outlines the military history of the site now occupied by Kelvin Grove Urban Village.
Written by Helen Klaebe and published by Focus Publishing, the book is a comprehensive record of the life stories, activities and events that have taken place in Kelvin Grove since 1825 through to 2006, including the development of the Village. The book also offers a wide range of images, sketches and plans that capture the essence of the area and help to illustrate this fascinating story. The book is now available on the
