The Kelvin Grove Urban Village has been master planned so people can move easily and safely in and around the Village, and connect to the Brisbane city centre and surrounding suburbs.
Walkways located around the Village allow pedestrians to explore the Village and surrounding areas, keep fit and learn some history along the way. The walkways also allow broader travel with pedestrians able to access the Inner Northern Busway stop at QUT, as well as the bus stops on Kelvin Grove Road. QUT also runs a 
staff and student bus service connecting its Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses, as well as Kelvin Grove with the Carseldine campus.
Entry to the Village is marked by the giant Kelvin Grove Urban Village Icon sign on the corner of Kelvin Grove Road and Musk Avenue which was installed in mid March. The 15 metre sign promotes the Kelvin Grove Urban Village, La Boite Theatre Company and facilities within the Village centre.
The Village can be easily accessed by car from Kelvin Grove Road and the Inner City Bypass. Parking options in the Village include resident parking located within each development, short-term kerbside parking, as well as parking beneath business premises such as the shopping centre.
